A sub-second mobile storefront for a UK performance-running brand — with a loyalty programme runners actually use.
01The challenge
Strider's customers train at 6am and shop at 6:05am. Their old storefront took four seconds to load on a phone — and the loyalty programme had a 2% redemption rate.
02Our approach
We rebuilt the storefront on a custom Node stack with an aggressive performance budget, redesigned the PDP around the gait-and-distance question runners actually ask, and re-cut the loyalty programme around training milestones.
03The outcome
Mobile conversion more than doubled, mobile LCP dropped to 0.5s, and loyalty redemptions are nearly 5× the previous baseline.
