Overview
A DTC launch storefront with a 12-step configurator, finance integration and a 28k-strong waitlist conversion engine.
01The challenge
An ambitious e-bike brand with a £3.4k average order value and one of the most complex configurators in DTC. Most competitor configurators bled 80% of users by step four.
02Our approach
We re-designed the configurator around progressive disclosure, embedded finance from step one, and built a finishing-touches summary that doubles as a shareable build. The waitlist drop got its own narrative microsite.
03The outcome
Configurator completion hit 47% — five times the category average. Pre-orders cleared £4.6M in the first quarter and Velo are now sold out into Q3.
